Pets

I made an appointment for my two kittens, who are hardly kittens anymore, with the vet. Both boys, about 7 months old, will get shots and neutered. This is going to cost me $244. Ouch!

I searched for places where I could get this done cheaper, but unless you are on disability, medicare, or public aid, no dice.

It seems like there would be a way to get medical care cheaper, not only for pets, but for humans. I've tried discount dental plans, and found that the dentists actually ADD to their bill to pay for their subscription to discount dental plans.

I just read an article by Dr. Mercola, a natural health doctor, yesterday. He states that Obama's healthcare program will not help lower medical costs. According to Dr. Mercola, Big Pharma and Insurance companies control this. Thank Republicans for deregulating this, so now no caps can be put on what they charge.

It's like if we had cornered the market on bread and charged people $10 for a loaf of bread, just because we could. There is something not only unethical, but immoral about that.
